On this page we will be taking about everything to do with internet from how to set it up to how to use it including all the bits in between.  It can be really hard to get you head round it when it’s your first time using it so there will be plenty of definitions to help you understand it a bit more. I think the best place to start is to answer the biggest question of all what is the internet? The internet is a worldwide collection of millions of computers all linked together. A. The computer stores them in files, and these files are             made up of ones and zeroes, a code that the computer           understands. These numbers are called ‘bits’. The different     ways in which these numbers, or bits, are put together            

Hardware

There are two Main types of computers:

The personal computer (PC) - This is the type of computer has various part connected to it. You may have this type at home but more commonly at school or in the office.

The Laptop - This is the type of computer has all the various part all combined together. You may have this type at school or in the office but more commonly at home.
